Last October 16, 2010 at around 0430 Manila time, Ultra, Elite and running enthusiasts gathered together to witness the birth of what the best West has to offer. From the City of Angels comes the running store born and raised as Filipino, A Runner’s Circle Manila has arrived!
I was fortunate enough to participate on the 5K Run from Quirino Ave to Kilometer 0 (Rizal Monument) followed by the Soft opening of their store. They’ve given all the runners present with their trademark shirt, with the impressive fabric of the running shirt, who wouldn’t want to run wearing it. It’s my first time supporting an organization, the way i see it, it is very important for any runner to support such an event and help spread the word. The sport of running here in the Philippines has become a big trend defeating the sport of badminton, well it’s only my opinion and i think it’s here to stay.
Running along the stretch of Roxas Blvd. before dawn is a an experience. It brings back great memories. First time running by the bay is a thumbs up together with some of the clubs like Takbo.ph, Team Boring, Team Ungas, The Six:30 Group, Team Endure and my group Team CB. A different high and satisfaction. Kudos to ARC Manila for this small running event.
A Runner’s Circle Manila offers a wide range of products designed to fit every runner’s needs from beginner to advance. From shoes, clothing, gels, power bars and accessories. Even those hard to find Amphipods and the elusive Nipguards were even available, the store such offers brands. They lived up to their tagline “We make running easier…” I will definitely have my first pair of Asics and 2XU compressions from ARC. They also offersAertex foot scan same with Gait analysis, footwheel, DeFeet Socks and Zensah compressions.
Thank you for the the Soft Opening. More Power & CONGRATULATIONS! ARYA!!!
