Once your in the Cavite radius you will notice this logo appearing almost everywhere, from billboards, malls, streets and even pedicabs, they call it the brand! A wise move coming from the local goverment.. It was lunched last February 2009 to distinguish food and other products made from the province of Cavite… whats so special about it? Only Caviteños could answer that! I think the home state is trying to catch up with the evolution, progress and economic burst.. Well for me, it just feels good.. i think I am also proud having this logo around… My historic turf.. hahaha!
THE CAVITE BRAND LOGO
This visual identity speaks of Caviteño personality and symbolizes the thing valued by the province. The brand logo’s blue, red and yellow colors, including the three stars are reminiscent of the Philippine flag. These elements emphasize the rich history of Cavite and the impact and contribution of the province to the Philippine Republic, foremost of which is being the birthplace of Philippine Independence.The blue color used for Cavite font represents the generally ideal peace and order situation the province enjoys.
The curved solid red band reflects Cavite’s continuing strive and dynamism for progress and change, driven by service-oriented people. The sun symbolizes the determination to rise above challenges and become competitive in the global arena. It reflects the Caviteño’s visionary personality – that of being forward-looking, advance and optimistic.
How i wish one day that every CALABARZON province bears a logo of its own, not to make a statement.. but an identity that transcends to respect and dynamism.. globally!
